Overboard

Thanks to the generosity of Grandmother and Grandad, Thomas, Heather, Coulter and Amos were able to sneak out for a couple of much needed nights out on the town. We headed down to Coral Bay and saddled up to the bar at the Shipwreck's Landing. The 'Lime and Coconut' drinks were some of the best we've had. Next we hit up open mic night at Island Blues. Thankfully Thomas didn't consume too many Bushwackers and the islanders were spared his version of When Doves Cry.

During the days we've kept up our routine by hitting the beaches in the morning and hangin' around the house in the afternoon. The 7-day weather forecast started out a little dismal with 80% chance of showers and thunderstorms, but after one day of crappy weather the skies cleared and we were able to soak up some much needed sunshine.

Best of all we've been able to get in some quality family time, a few great cookouts and several rounds of Taboo after the munchkins have gone off to dreamland. We plan to make the most of the last couple of days we have together so stay tuned.
