Today our sweet itty Beau Biddy turned three. It's bittersweet to see our baby girl getting all growed up. When you ask her if she's a "baby" or a "big girl", she coyly replies that she's a "little girl." At least she still sees it that way..for now.Below are a few snaps from her party yesterday with some of her favorite friends and family.
Getting a pre-party haircut from Grandma...or in other words another excuse to eat a popsicle.
Marlene created gorgeous pink puffs for the Spring/flower theme..
..and the unbelievable Snow White cake. Words won't do it justice, just believe us when we say it's her best yet.
Thank you Marlene for making Beau's party so special. You are so talented in every way.
Mimi helping put together goodie bags. Lets just say she got a little into it.
A cute card from big brother Gus.
A good time was had by all! Neighbors Grady May and Amelia play cash register with Gussy.
Dad getting a little loopy with Freddie.
Ready for cake please.
Happy Birthday to you... We think Gus enjoyed the party as much as Miss Beau.
Cake + craft table aftermath.
Beau trying on her new coveted flip flops - one of the many thoughtful gifts she received. Thanks everybody!
Even Gus scored a new hat.
One of the highlights of the birthday weekend was a visit from Mimi. This might have been the best gift of all.
And on a final note, we thought we would include a photo from Beau's first visit to the dentist. Notice the baby close by. She recently gave the baby a name -- "Julianna" -- which is pronounced "Hoolianna." The name is not only from a friend of Marlene's, but happens to be Mimi's middle name. We had a blast celebrating Beau's third birthday. Thank you to everyone who made it so perfect. Especially all our little party helpers. George's crab quiche and Grandma's mac-n-cheese were the talk of the party. Looking forward to the next one...although please don't hurry up and get here just yet.
In case you didn't know...Spring is just around the corner. Enjoy and we'll check back soon.
