Spring has Sprung

We realize how ridiculous this sounds...it is only February. In Oregon. However it has been an amazing few weeks and a mild winter overall. Hopefully this doesn't mean that we're in for a typical sopping wet Spring - the kind that gives Oregon a bad name. Here are a few recent photos of the kidlets enjoying warmer winter days.

Over the weekend we took advantage of the 60 degree weather and headed over to the Oregon Coast for the day. I think we were all itchin' to get out of town and soak up the sun. We hit up one of our favorite beaches, Hug Point, and later had Mo's famous clam chowder and shrimp salad for lunch. The kids meals were served on frisbees which were a huge hit. It really was the perfect day and we all had a blast. Even Beau's baby said so.

Just to keep you up-to date, we've spent the last month or so getting little projects done around the house and just hanging out as a family. We had a nice visit with Grandmother when she came out for her 67th (hard to believe) birthday in mid-January. And perhaps the biggest piece of "news" is that we moved Beau's crib into Gus's room at the beginning of the year. It's been fun eaves dropping on their nightly conversations - we'll try to record one for a later post. Definitely worth sharing.

Our sweet little Biddy turns three in just a couple short weeks so we'll be back soon with a birthday update. Beau will be excited to know that Mimi is coming to town! TTFN.
