We started today's adventure off by heading down to the beach at the Caneel Bay resort. This property used to be owned by the Rockefellers, and it's one of the best beaches on the island. Gus and Thomas swam out to the floating dock (if you squint your eyes, you can see Gus and Thomas sitting out on the dock). Heather and Beau spent the morning building sand castles and reading Junot Diaz's debut novel.

Later in the day, Gus and Beau decided they needed a coconut from the tree in our front yard. Armed with the kitchen broom and the cooler as a ladder, Thomas was able to knock one out of the tree without falling down himself. Yeah! Is there anything that we won't do for our kids? Pretty much not. However, there was that one time when Gus asked Thomas to knock off a liquor store.
In closing, Heather continues to flex her culinary muscle as usual. For lunch, we had black bean + chicken quesadillas with lime avocado + cucumber salad. And for dinner, we had teriyaki chicken, a big salad and rice. Followed by sliced watermelon for dessert. YUMM.
And for all her friend's who will appreciate her addiction to the iced latte, you'll be pleased to know that Heather was able to find the one place in town that serves a Starbucks latte just like they make back home. Thank God for that.

hope you're holiday is "stronger than new rope..."
