Eight is Great!

8 years ago today, August Benjamin Harvey joined our family. There are so many things that we love about this wonderful kid.  He wakes up every morning with a big smile on his face ready to take on the world.  He's the best big brother to Beau and Theo. He's always up for trying new things with his adventurous spirit. He is a kid that everyone wants to be around because he's so happy and ready to have fun.  

There's no better example of his enthusiasm for life than his birthday party at the new minor league baseball team, the Hillsboro Hops.  It was 98 degrees at the game, but you would have never known that from Gus.  From the moment we arrived, he was ready to have a great time.

Tonight, we celebrated with a yummy ice cream cake.  Gus and Theo patiently awaited the lighting of the candles.  Pretty sure that Gus was wishing for another ice cream cake.

We love you big boy.  Can we still call you Gussy now that you're eight?
