Double the Holiday Fun

Theo gives thanks to the great year he's had so far in 2011 - while the rest of the family serves up a nice helping of Thanksgiving viddles. Please note the limited edition place mats designed and created by Beau and Gus Harvey. Gus' hand print is featured on the left while Beau's hand is on the right.

A view of the Thanksgiving spread that was enjoyed by all. We had Heather's mom, uncle and stepbrother and his family over for the day. Football, board games and eating rounded a great Thanksgiving celebration.

Now on to last month's Halloween celebration. In honor of it being Theo's first, we thought a baby pumpkin carved in his baby likeness was the very least we could do. Thomas' carving skills were able to capture the bottom two teeth and his front curl.

This year Beau faced her fear of raccoons by becoming one for Halloween. This is something Yoda would have taught Young Master Luke. Yet Beau came up with this all on her own. What a proud moment!

No costumed superhero or Harry Potter nonsense for Gus, he signed up as a member of the living dead. Zombie makeup created by Marlene, our can-do-anything Super Nanny. The wig worn by Gus was passed down from Heather's great grandmother, Emma MacDonald.

Sweet Master Theo put a new spin on that lovable green Muppet character by going as Kermit the Tree Frog.

Here Kermit the Tree Frog poses with Thomas' alter ego, Thomasina.

Pre-Halloween family porch pose. Trying saying that 3 times in a row.

Enough about Halloween and Thanksgiving, let's get to the kids in the red bucket.

Last but not least, Theo reached another milestone. On his nine month birthday, he decided that he would add crawling to his bag of tricks. Next month, he plans on taking up guitar.

That's all folks. We promise to be back real soon!
