Sometimes you just can't help doing the cheesy titles...but we're overdue for a couple of updates and we haven't yet posted pics from our recent trip to the beach. For Memorial Day we spent the weekend with the Comstock family in our favorite sleepy Oregon beach town, Manzanita. As you can see from the pics below, a good time was had by all. Lets get to it.

Beau and Lily were totally in their element out on the big wide open beaches.
In search of forest fairies, we stopped at one of the big giant trees during our hike down to Short Sands beach.
A picture says a thousand words...
The weather forecast was dismal but we only experienced a couple of brief showers. Otherwise we got out and made the most of it as you can see here.
Witness Thomas proving at 43 years of age, that he's still able to leap over a giant sand pit in a single bound.

These last two pics weren't taken at the beach but needed to be shared. Seeing your oldest and youngest crack each other up is pretty awesome.
We will be back shortly with an update on our first days of Summer break now that both kids are out of school. We're off to a good start...
